Denis is the head of the IT and Digitization Department of Volkswagen Poznań Sp. z o.o. and handles such topics as IT systems in production areas (4 plants), digitization of administration and planning and controlling the development of the IT network of plants in Poznań and Września. He graduated in Germany with a degree in Business Management and Production from the Georg August University in Göttingen and then defended his PhD in Information Technology at the Clausthal University of Technology. Denis has been associated with the Volkswagen Group since 2009, during which time he was the Referent to the board of management Production and Logistics (Brand Volkswagen), the head of Group IT Virtual Product Development department and the head of Group IT Production Control. Currently, he is leading the cross-area strategic initiative "shutdown offensive" of legacy IT Systems in the whole Volkswagen Group and the initiative #MissionDigitalization, aimed at increasing the level of digitization and describing and shaping the future image of Volkswagen Poznań in 2030. Privately, Denis is 38 years old, married and has two children. In his spare time, he is interested in IT home automation.
