Richard Goebelt is Head of the Vehicle & Mobility Business Unit of the TÜV Association. The TÜV Association promotes technical and digital safety and trust in mobility through independent and neutral testing, inspection and certification. With his knowledge of the industry, he helps to create reliable and legally compliant certification frameworks that make mobility even safer and more efficient. Richard Goebelt is also a member of numerous transport and mobility committees that advise policymakers in Berlin and Brussels. At the end of 2020, he was elected Chairman External Affairs by the Bureau Permanent of the Belgium-based International Motor Vehicle Inspection Committee (CITA).
