Christoph is Head of Digital Commerce at CARIAD, Volkswagen Group. He is responsible for developing the eCommerce platform across all brands and markets of the Volkswagen Group. Goal is to provide both customers and dealers a simple and attractive online shopping experience: from new and used cars, parts and accessories, services to digital functions within vehicles. Before joining CARIAD, Christoph was responsible for business development in e-commerce and digital advertising with car manufacturers and leasing providers at Amazon Automotive in Europe, as well as developing strategic partnerships with car manufacturers and leasing providers. Before Amazon, Christoph worked >9 years in strategy consulting at Oliver Wyman with focus on product and market strategy, connected cars and digital business models in the automotive and manufacturing industry. Christoph is a driver of the digital transformation. He is a passionate and inclusive leader believing in total customer centricity, team empowerment, curiosity and continuous learning. He is married and lives with his family in the Berlin area.
