Power Grids under Stress – Are electric vehicles problem or solution?
The desirable rapid expansion of renewable energies and simultaneous massive ramp-up of E-mobility introduce great challenges for the power grid. Uncontrolled charging at times of peak load can lead to massive problems and even blackouts. But the electric car is not necessarily the problem but can become part of the solution if vehicles charging becomes smart. There are a variety of smart charging options, ranging from flexible electricity tariffs to complex, bi-directional grid services. In this presentation, various solutions for smart charging will be shown and both the technical complexity as well as the economic and legal boundary conditions will be examined. -

Human error and inefficiency as both a risk and a sales opportunity.
Accuracy and efficiency are essential to withstand the time pressure during peak seasons (e.g.: seasonal tire change). Process flows and data collection must run at peak performance - errors are not allowed. In reality, however, things are often different - a lot of data is still entered manually by hand, often with errors. This not infrequently leads to lost sales or even legal consequences. A lack of skilled workers and expensive special equipment are not long-term solutions in today's market situation. But Anyline provides a remedy and transforms the smartphone into a mobile scanner. Learn how mobile scanning of tire & vehicle data helps your company avoid mistakes and increase sales. -

Challenges in the development of autonomous driving
Whatever form autonomous driving takes, it is here to stay. Nevertheless, in addition to ethical issues and questions of technological feasibility in the area of environment recognition, safeguarding, safety and security, we are also confronted with questions about infrastructure, data collection, legal questions about polluter-pays principles, questions about personal rights and general societal questions. Autonomous driving thus represents a multidimensional transformation task, with challenges in the development, the implementation in the transition of the current traffic system to an autonomous one, with the customer and his production processes, regarding questions of the state and legal system and a general social acceptance; which I would like to discuss with you in my talk. -

Safe mobility for all – sustainable
A look at the increased volume of traffic and the number of annual accidents shows that something urgently needs to change here. Driving must become safer and more sustainable. How? Through automation. But what are the advantages of automation in mobility? What exactly does "safe" driving mean? And how can we achieve this? -

FNOL - When you know first. Real-time damage detection, better decisions
How quickly does it happen? Once you're not paying attention, you've already caused damage to your vehicle. Especially in the range between 2 and 10 kilometers per hour, damage occurs that is hardly visible or not visible at all, but nevertheless causes a lot of damage. With a powerful telematics unit, you can track down these incidents and provide real-time information about severity, location and amount of damage. In case of major damage, you are thus the first to have this information and can control the repair chain. In addition to faster processes, enormous potential savings are also possible. Learn more about what is possible in the Masterclass. -

Automotive Trends 2023: ESG, Digitalization and Credit Solutions
The automotive industry is currently undergoing many trends and changes that are impacting various aspects of the industry. We would like to focus on the three trends ESG, digitalization and credit solutions. Automotive manufacturers are increasingly relying on digital technologies to better understand customer needs and offer personalized products and services. At the same time, the requirements of customers, investors and society are growing in terms of meeting sustainability criteria (environmental, social, governance, or ESG for short). The optimal coordination of data and processes ensures that contact with the customer is maintained and subsequently leads to decisive competitive advantages. -
